For the entire month of October, you will find a series of my images at Sam's Place cafe and used bookstore on Henderson as part of Winnipeg's Flash Photographic Festival.

I'm excited to be hosted by Sam's Place. I hope you'll take some time to visit Sam's, have a coffee, browse some great used books and take in my images.

All the images are related to the work of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada.

I was fortunate enough to travel to Ottawa with the findings of the TRC were released, and privileged to capture some photos of various events surrounding this historic moment.

For a long time I didn't know how to share these images but Flash Fest has given me that opportunity.

The folks in the images have graciously consented to let me use them their images in this way. And a few even sent me a few lines about their experiences and perspective regarding the TRC.
